Ingenuity at its finest. Ashfaq is a man who can think his way through any engineering problem or efficiency issue and invent a simple solution. This is a gift that was sadly overlooked when he was an orphan growing up in Northern India. Raised more so as the servant in a foster family and told that he would not amount to much, Ashfaq now has a special place and endless opportunities in the Village Artisan family. Opportunity coupled with empowerment and confidence instilled in a man as talented as Ashfaq is a powerful thing. Putting his skills, faithfulness, and mind to work producing paper, jewelry, and textile products with Village Artisan he is now able to provide for his wife and two young boys – planning for their future and teaching them that the Opportunities are limitless.
