Maviya - Fun loving, always ready for a challenge

 

Maviya shines in her ability to take on new challenges with enthusiasm and joy. One of several daughters without good access to education, she began her work at Village Artisan nervous and inexperienced. But as she worked alongside the other ladies she quickly grew in her ability and confidence. Now, regardless of the difficulty of the task, she is willing to try her hand at anything, excelling in most things. She even takes initiative by bringing new designs and ideas made in her own time into the factory.

Maviya's story is one of potential being realized, character being developed, and opportunities being availed. Hers is a story of hope, dignity, and joy.
